Who can Take out Abortive Transaction Insurance?

The MoveSafe Abortive Insurance is available to both residential sales and purchasers and applies to all Freehold and Leasehold transactions.

You can Now Arrange Offer No-Completion, No-Fee with our Abortive Insurance

As a conveyancer, you also have to remain competitive and so often have to write-off your charges if a transaction does not go ahead but with your client still having to pay for any wasted survey and searches. The Abortive Conveyance Insurance offers a solution to this problem. All you need to do to obtain cover is to request a MoveSafe policy at the start of the conveyance transaction. You choose whether the Abortive Insurance premium be paid up front (with a 5% reduction in price) or instead be deferred and not paid until completion, with the clever bit being that, if deferred, the Abortive Insurance premium never has to be paid if completion does not take place!

What Does the Abortive Insurance Cover?

The MoveSafe Abortive Transaction Insurance protects your costs and your client’s expenditure in the event that a transaction fails to complete. The Abortive Insurance covers all of the solicitor’s charges, all search fees, survey costs and incidental expenses.

If the sale or purchase fails to go ahead, your client may be upset but at least they won’t be out of pocket. And nor will you.
