We hope you are in good spirits in what has been a difficult time, in particular for the business community. We know that when “lockdown” commenced,  a number of our panel firms worked hard to overcome initial  technological and operational difficulties, and we have seen most panel firms continuing to maintain a good deal of their fee earning and administrative capacity. It has been an extremely challenging time, particularly financially, but it has been deeply encouraging to see most firms adapt their businesses to provide at least a survival strategy.

We are pleased to say that all of Box Legal’s staff have been able to operate from home, and you may have gathered that we have been operating at close to our normal service levels throughout the lockdown period. In part, this has been due to the assistance which we have received from all our panel firms, for which we are extremely grateful.

In the meantime, our business development team has been working hard to develop new areas of insurance cover and to consolidate our links with funders who specialise in lending money to solicitors to cover their disbursements and work in progress.

We are continuing to plan for the future and we are pleased that we have been able to produce our latest “Policy Guide” which sets out the policies, services and benefits we can now supply. Please take a look - you can download it from the link at the end of this message. There are many new areas of work covered and services we can offer, including introductions to litigation funders.
